Scott Ellard, Chairman & CEO

Mr. C. S. (Scott) Ellard is a hands on technologist and innovator with over 25 years of experience in parallel processing, distributing computing, network programming, relational databases and open system design.

Most recently as founding Chief Technology Officer at Initiate Systems, (acquired in 2010 by IBM), Scott conceived, designed and was principal implementer of Initiate’s market leading multi-domain data linking and analytic software for information sharing correlation.  He was granted multiple national and international patents relating to the underlying technology as well as being co-awarded the 2009 TechAmerica innovator’s Award for software with Dr. Scott Schumacher, Initiate’s Chief Scientist.  Companies such as Microsoft, State Farm, Humana, Federal Express, CVS, and Wal-Mart as well as many law enforcement and national intelligence agencies use the software worldwide.

Scott gained in-depth analysis, planning, and development skills during his tenure with now-public Silicon Valley start-ups, Informix Software (acquired by IBM) and Visigenic Software (acquired by Borland).  While working as a consultant, he designed strategic systems for inventory control, reservations, real estate and account and personnel management.  His clients included companies such as Hyatt, Sheraton, K-Mart, Coca Cola, Chemical Bank, The Capital Group, Sequent Computers, TRW and Southwestern Bell.  Earlier, Scott was a senior scientist at Independence Technologies, a Silicon Valley start-up specializing in UNIX on-line Transaction Processing (OLTP) systems (acquired by BEA). He also served as chief consultant reporting to the Office of the Chairman for Informix Software.

Scott was instrumental in the founding of both TimesTen, a main memory database system provider (acquired by Oracle) and Empart Technologies, an e-commerce software and services company (acquired by ARI Network Services) where he also served on Empart’s Board of Directors.

Josh Sevick, COO, VP of Services

As the Chief Operating Officer, Josh is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of business strategies as well as for directing the day-to-day operations for of the organization. Josh brings with him a successful track record of leadership in the healthcare industry, having held global product management, finance, marketing and strategy roles with some of the largest and most decorated healthcare related organizations in the industry.

In addition to having held global P&L responsibility, Josh has led both the financial and strategic planning efforts for multiple organizations, launched new products throughout Europe and Asia, chartered a complete corporate re-branding effort, and directed numerous healthcare analytic initiatives.
Josh holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Bachelors degree from California University of Pennsylvania.

Josh has been married to his wife, Leigh for 13 years, and they welcomed their first child, Peyton Grace in 2009.

Todd Armstrong, VP of Finance

As VP of Finance, Todd is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of Unity Media Group and Unity Medical. Areas of focus include business unit finance, treasury, and tax. By creating and implementing business objectives with financial information, Todd will also be directly accountable for cash flow projection, forecast tools, operational auditing, and all financial statements.

Todd has held managing and executive positions in finance in many different companies and corporations. He began his career as an accountant and has continued to increase his knowledge and experience in Finance. Most recently, Todd was owner of a business-consulting firm, North Gate Partners, Inc., which focused on new entity start-up and specialized projects. The firm primarily assisted companies dealing with growth issues to design and implement systems and procedures.

Todd’s community involvement includes holding the position of Treasurer of the McCall Ski Racing Team. In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons in the outdoors of Idaho.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting and Finance Degree from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.

Julie Carmine, VP of Corporate Marketing & Communications

As Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications, Julie oversees all aspects of development and oversight for implementation of creative marketing strategies within multiple delivery channels.
Julie was with St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho for 15 years where she most recently served as the Marketing Manager for the $1.3 Billion Health System. In that capacity she was responsible for geographically diverse marketing planning and implementation.

Julie’s responsibilities included evolving the web strategy and management, advertising and sponsorships, brand strategy and management, customer relationship management, and establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives for new partnerships with physician groups and other hospitals across the health system.

Julie graduated with honors from Northwest Nazarene University where she holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
